Just want to take a break and share my frustrations with you. I’m fucking damn slow!!!
You won’t believe it, I’m still making amendments on my English text for the first video, “Greetings in English!” Goddamn slow!
Actually, right now, I’m re-doing the Cantonese text and the Mandarin text of that first video. Boy! It’s been one month, two months now? I can’t remember how long ago I started writing the texts. Jesus!
I’m going to do shorter videos after this one. I recorded an audio in Guilin, and it was something like 15-some minutes long. I asked Jing to make corrections on my Mandarin text. When she saw the thick pile of papers, she asked how long was my video. I said about 15 minutes.
“No one will watch anything longer than two minutes!” she said. She wouldn’t herself, she added.
So my pile sat on her desk for three days and I still hadn’t heard back from her. Finally, I went in to her study and asked if she had looked over my thing yet. It was then she started to flip through it...then she got interested, and asked a few questions. After she’s finished, she said she had learned a few things there. She even came back a day or two later to give some encouragements to me. She looked up some Chinese sites and suggested I could post videos there as well.
I hope the reaction of some future viewers will be as positive as Jing’s. But I don’t know how come I’m so fucking slow. Damn slow! I thought I could upload one video every day. With this speed, I won’t be able to do one video a month!
God! Just need to vent something to you!
